Having peace of mind over whether your child is safe when you’re at work or not makes a huge difference for absolutely any parent, mothers and fathers. Our daycare is uniquely developed to provide the benefits of family facility with a center based curriculum.
This means that having a safe learning space, where your infant can get some quality care, fun times and attention is critical.
Infants who become a part of this program have their needs both physical and emotional nurtured, with a caring attention by all of our team members.
The Activities included in the class are:

- Daily Spanish Immersion
- Music & Movement

Toddler – 13 to 24 mo.
Toddlers love to learn and explore. They are always on the go, and always challenging their newly discovered mobility. We encourage them in a stimulating but safe environment, just right for us to promote creativity, exploration and education.
As with our Infant Program, our Toddler Program follows the Maryland Guidelines for Healthy Child Development and Care for Young Children. Children a part of this program have their basic skills developed and nurtured, with a caring attention by all of our team members.

Preschool – 2 to 4 years
The Preschool Program for two, three and four-year-old’s follows the Maryland Model for School Readiness.
According to the Maryland State Department of Education’s Initiatives , “Maryland well understands that the path to school success begins long before a child enters school. Maryland also understands that a high quality system of early childhood education depends upon tight coordination of early learning programs, services, and resources.”

Pre-K
The Pre-kindergarten program provides appropriate experiences that address the needs of young children in the areas of language and literacy, mathematics, social foundations, science, social studies, fine arts, and physical well-being and motor development.
Therefore, our pre-kindergarten curriculum is designed to encourage children to achieve their full potential and advance to our accelerated school age program.

School Age
We are a licensed daycare program for children up to 12 years of age. For those families in need of services for school-age children, here are a few of the services that we offer:

Summer Program
Our Summer program focuses on three main camps/themes:
- STEM
- Animal Exploration
- Art Camp
During these camps, we enjoyed many field trips, projects, and visitors to ensure our little explorers have a BLAST this summer! We always end our summer with a day of lots of fun which we call field day!

Do you accept vouchers?
Yes, vouchers are accepted as we are participants in MD Excels
Does your facility have cameras?
Yes, we have cameras throughout the home for safety purposes.
What do i need to bring?
-Infants/Toddlers will need to provide diapers, wipes, changes clothing, and pre-made bottles.
Are uniforms required?
Explorers 2+ are required to wear the CECC uniform.
Are meals provided?
CECC is a part of the MCPS and CACFP national food program. We serve nutritional meals, including breakfast, lunch, and PM snacks.
